Who are we?

Plaas-Koöp CC was started in January of 2019 with our first shop in Vanderbijlpark.
This shop has since been sold but it was an excellent training ground for what was to come.

We established right from the start that we would focus on a handful of principles
that are a must for any business:

The first of these principles is cleanliness and tidiness.
We have seen countless shops in our industry that are dirty and dusty with
no regard to stock rotation, rodent control or aesthetics.
We feel that quality, consistency and shopper experience rest on these
factors above any other.
We also aim to provide friendly, knowledgeable and quality service at all our stores.

We see ourselves in a midway between the traditional pet supply store
and the traditional agricultural co-operative.

Secondly, we stock a selection of animal feed and pet food
we ourselves use for our animals.
We keep stock on a wide variety of popular products that
have been proven to work.
We won’t sell product we are not prepared to buy ourselves.

We aim to provide entry, mid and high-end level options for most of the pet food
we sell, providing quality food for every budget.
We endeavor to make sure that these products are ALWAYS in stock
as far as it is possible for us.

We also try to get products at the best possible prices without
sacrificing quality.
These savings are then directly passed on to you
our customers.

Lastly, and most important our business is
fundamentally Christian based.
We do honest, transparent business.

We strive to honor God in all we do and treat others as we want to be treated.
We make a living through hard work, honesty and serving our customers.
